Urban Combat has taught karate in Ipswich continuously since 1967, making it the longest-running karate school in Suffolk. It grew out of Blackwell Academy and the EKKA syllabus, created in 1974 by Master Mick Blackwell 10th Dan, who still teaches on the mat today.
