Urban Combat is led by a Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee and still taught, on the mat, by the 10th Dan grandmaster who created its syllabus in 1974. No other martial arts club in the region can claim both.

EKKA is the martial arts syllabus created in 1974 by Master Mick Blackwell. Every black belt Urban Combat has ever produced traces back to this syllabus — a direct, unbroken lineage from founder to current student.
